Numeric allocation question types allow respondents to enter numeric
values. To enter an answer, respondents must enter numeric values into small
boxes to the right of a particular attribute.
Best used when:
- Need insight on percentages of time, money, percentages, units, etc. that respondents use in a specific context
Advantages:
- Extracts quantitative data
- Can validate a desired total (avoids skewed data)
- Can show or hide the sum of values entered
Limitations:
- No close or open-ended data
- No ranking or rating data
