Advanced Survey Design: Intelligent Looping
This advanced survey design feature allows the Survey Creator to ask a
series of questions multiple times, and then aggregate the responses
received for these questions.
First, a question is asked that determines the number of times the
designated questions are displayed/repeated to the survey respondent.
For example, if a survey question asked “How many cars do you own?” and the
respondent answered “3”, Intelligent Looping would loop a series of
questions for each car. These questions could inquire as to the make, model,
and year of each car .
Intelligent looping makes surveys shorter by conserving valuable survey
space and increasing response rates. This feature also efficiently collects
data from questions that are repeated more than once in a survey.
Apply Intelligent Looping
Below is a Looping Question as seen on the Participation Page.
The answer selected is shown as '2'.
Since the answer selected for the above looping question is '2',
the questions
seen below are repeated twice in the survey on consecutive pages.
